We’re excited to share a local training opportunity for our players at Revolution Training Center in Manchester. All ages are welcome.
Glastonbury’s own college-level lacrosse talent, Matt Harding , class of 2027 at Yale, is coming home to work with the next generation of local athletes.
This clinic gives players the opportunity to focus on skill development, high-quality repetitions focused instruction in a small-group environment.
What’s Covered for Offense:
Sessions are built around key offensive primary skills, intentionally keeping a narrow scope to drive improvement. Clinic will address:
Shooting fundamentals
Offensive footwork
Protecting your stick under pressure
Non- negotiable wall ball regimens for stick mastery
Space is limited.

As another exciting lacrosse season comes to a close, we want to thank you for being part of such a tremendous community of athletes, coaches, and families. The skills, determination, and teamwork demonstrated throughout the season are truly something to celebrate.
As your athletes look ahead to the fall, we encourage you to consider continuing their athletic journey with our friends at Glastonbury Youth Football Association (GYFA).
Lacrosse and football share many of the same qualities that help young athletes succeed both on and off the field. Speed, agility, toughness, teamwork, discipline, commitment, and leadership are all essential components of both sports. Many successful football players are also lacrosse players, and the transition between the two sports is a natural fit.
At GYFA, players have the opportunity to:
• Continue developing athletic skills in a competitive and supportive environment
• Build confidence, resilience, and leadership abilities
• Learn the value of teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship
• Stay active throughout the fall season
• Form lasting friendships and become part of a strong community
• Have fun while competing and growing as athletes
GYFA is committed to providing a positive experience for players of all skill levels. Whether your child is stepping onto the football field for the first time or returning for another season, their coaches focus on fundamentals, player development, safety, and creating an environment where every athlete can thrive.
To help athletes prepare for the upcoming season, GYFA will be hosting free conditioning clinics as per the attached program. These sessions are open to everyone and are a great opportunity to meet coaches, learn more about the program, and experience what Glastonbury Youth Football is all about. And, the best part is that they will be coached by UCONN Football Alum Andre Dixon!
Please see the attached flyer for additional details. Coaches will be available during the clinics to answer questions and discuss the upcoming season.
We are excited to continue supporting one another as organizations that share the common goal of helping young athletes develop confidence, character, and a lifelong love of sports.
We hope to see many of our lacrosse athletes bring their speed, athleticism, and competitive spirit to the football field this fall!
